I’d like to tell you how to remove gum from your carpet.
Freeze the gum for remove
The tools you’re need
- A dustpan
- A brush
- We use gum remover which freezes a gum at TV. If you don’t have professional gum remover you can actually use ice cubes to remove the gum.
- We also use a bone scraper or blunt object. If you don’t have a bone scraper try using a spoon.
We take a gum remover insert the nozzle be careful to point this away from your face and pointed about 3 to 5 inches from the gum hold it down freeze the gum for about 5 to 10 seconds what’s the gum is frozen. If you you don’t have gum remover just take an ice cube and rub it back and forth for a minute or two until the gum gets frozen completely and then you can scrape it away.
After that you can take your bone scraper and remove the frozen gum from your carpet. If you don’t have a bone scraper try using the spoon this safe to use without harming the carpet.
Never want to use for razor or a scraper because this will damage the fibers.
Once you get it all scraped up simply take your brush and sweep it up how this is really important because the particles of gum it will stick back into the carpet.
Use WD-40 for remove gum from carpet
Another method is to spray a generous amount of WD-40 directly onto the stain. After applying the WD-40 wait for a few minutes to remove the stain scrubbing the gum stain in the same direction. Choose right to left or left to right just continue in the same motion you start. Keep applying WD-40 prescribed with the brush repeating as necessary to clean the area. Spray some spot remover or general degreaser directly onto the affected area rinse a clean sponge with warm water and dab the stain gently clean the area until stain is no longer visible
Use hairdryer for remove gum from carpet
Another method that can be used for hardened gum is to grab a hair dryer and blow heat directly onto the gum.
Be careful not to melt the carpet fibers.
Once you see that the gum is beginning to melt use a plastic bag to scrape up the melted gum upon contact the gum stick to the plastic help you remove it continue until the stain disappear.
